Dear colleagues!
We invite you to participate in the work of 2 nd International scientific conference “Hegelian
studies”
Theme of conference: «Impact of Hegel’s philosophy on the development of classical and modern
theoretical tradition»
Conference will be held on December 9, 2021 online.
SUGGESTED TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION:
● Hegel’s philosophy and classical tradition of theoretical thinking
● Predecessors and followers of Hegel in German culture
● Hegel and European Enlightenment
● French, English and Italian Hegelianism and Neohegelianism
● Impact on classical German philosophy on the development of philosophical and political
thought in Slavic world and Ukraine in particular
● Hegelian origins of Russian and Ukrainian Slavophilism and Westernism
● The impact of Hegel’s dialectical tradition on the development of natural sciences and social
sciences
● Hegelian tradition in aesthetics
● Hegel’s “Philosophy of Law” as one of the inspirations for European democratic tradition
● Hegel’s philosophy and Marxism
● Impact of Hegelianism on existentialism, psychoanalysis and postmodernism
● The fate of Hegel’s dialectics in the Soviet philosophy
● Hegelianism as an intellectual trend in different historical periods
● Modern national centers of Hegelian studies in academic and non-academic communities
● Textological problems of understanding Hegel’s legacy in different countries. Challenges of
translation and comprehension.
The official languages of the conference are: Ukrainian, English,Russian.
To participate in conference, the contributors should send e-mail with materials to
hegel.conf.kpi@gmail.com. In order to attend the conference without reporting, participant should
send application form noting “attendance” instead of “intended topic of report”. Deadline:
December 2, 2021.Author Guidelines:

Theses up to 4 full pages A4. Top, bottom, left fields – 2 cm, right – 1.5 cm. Font – Times
New Roman, size – 14. Paragraph indention – 1,25 cm. Interval between the lines – 1.15.
On the right in first three lines – name and surname of the author (Times New Roman, 14,
italic), city, e-mail. The title of the work is put in the middle of line (with capitalisation):
font Times New Roman, size – 14, bold.

Digital version of materials in MS Word .doc and .pdf is mandatory.

The conference organizers retain the right to reject the applied materials in case they do
not correspond the conference problematics, contradict with authors’ guidelines, contain
plagiarisms, their volume is exceeded or in case they are sent after the deadline. Authors holds
the responsibility for the content of his thesis.
It is intended to publish the printed copy of collection of conference materials.
Conference will be held online.
